I have 2,000 ML 55. I kept it very clean in and out. But the dashboard light just went out and I’m driving in the dark. Headlight and fog lights are fine. Navigation works fine too. Are there any dimming switch I touched that I didn’t know about? How can I fix this issue?

Or check your fuses under the dash.

The system on the car is designed to recognize it once a bulb has been replaced. If the dash still shows the fault, then the bulb or housing may not have been installed properly or the problem is with the wiring or fault system.
